INDIANAPOLIS – The 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championship field has been set and announced by the national office this afternoon. Four Saginaw Valley State University men's athletes were named among those selected to compete in this year's meet, which will be hosted by Emporia State in Emporia, Kansas, from May 21-23.
Sawyer Moloy and Xavier Santiago will compete in the men's high jump on May 22. Moloy won the National Title in high jump during the indoor championships and will look to do the same in Kansas. Santiago earned All-America honors in the men's high jump during the indoor meet after finishing fourth. Santiago enters the outdoor championships with the second-best mark in D2 (2.19m). Moloy ranks seventh with his best height of 2.14m during the outdoor season.
Andrew Quinn returns to the outdoor championships after earning All-America in the shot put during the indoor meet. Quinn currently ranks 16th in the shot put during outdoor season, with his best throw of 17.68m. He will throw the shot on the final day of the meet, May 23.
The final qualifier is Jacob Walker. Walker will run both the men's 5K and 10K during the meet. Walker holds the 17th-best time in the 5K coming into the championship meet. He ranks eighth in the 10K with his PR time of 29:09.04. The 10K will take place on the first day of the meet, May 21, and the 5K will happen on the final day (May 23).
