UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University sophomore jumper Sawyer Moloy (Sanford Meridian HS) was named the GLIAC Field Athlete of the Week when the league office announced the weekly awards on Monday.

Moloy earned the third weekly conference award of his career, first in 2026, after winning the men's high jump at the GVSU Big Meet over the weekend. He matched his PR after clearing the bar at 2.18m, which sits atop the NCAA Division II Indoor Qualifying list. Moloy cleared the bar at 2.05m, 2.14m, and 2.18m in his first attempt to win the event.

The Cardinal track and field team will host the annual Tune Up Meet this Friday, February 20, inside the SVSU Fieldhouse.
