UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State University football hosts the 2026 Spring Game on Friday, April 10, inside the SVSU Fieldhouse, with kickoff slated for 6:00 p.m. (ET). The SVSU Spring Game is a chance for Cardinal fans to get a first look at the 2026 Cardinal Football team, including the new coaching staff led by first-year head coach Michael Engle.
The Spring game is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and spectators can access the Ryder Center via the North Ramp Entrance. Parking will be in Lot E just outside the Fieldhouse.
Concessions will be open, and alcohol will be sold on the fieldhouse concourse. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the Ryder Center; the SVSU Clear Bag Policy will be in effect, and there will be no re-entry into the facility. The Cardinals' 2026 Fall Home Opener is the Red Feather Classic, scheduled for Thursday, August 27, at 7:00 p.m. against McKendree. Season tickets will go on sale on the SVSU Cardinals Ticket Central Page on the day of the Spring Game.
